So this is a Z at my friend’s shop that is going to be restored further. It’s an early Series I and the VIN shows #764, it’s the lowest we have seen in person.

Man, all your Z posts are making me really regret letting my ‘72 go, and this white one especially reminds me of it because the hood was a different color and it was missing some trim. It was beat to hell, but was a pretty solid starting point, $700 out of a field barely running. I had an RB20DET to put in it too, but now all I want is a nice L28 with triple Mikunis.

You should feel bad! :p My friend says the L28 is too heavy, you throw more weight around, for curvy driving it’s better to rev the original engine higher with a cam and triples.
